The 2014 SERNW-GB Regional Conference on ecological restoration will bring together scientists, restoration professionals, and government agencies involved in restoration issues in the Cascadia and Great Basin Bioregions, with a focus on the unique challenges of ecological restoration in these regions. The conference will be held in Redmond, Oregon.

Presentation: “Powerful Partnerships to Restore Forests and Rivers”
Central Oregon is the home of many innovative collaborations of varying scope and colors. Three partnerships are featured ranging from restoration work on Wild and Scenic Rivers to bike rides to salmon reintroduction to old growth forest management to art and quilting to invasive species management.
PLENARY SPEAKERS ANNOUNCED
We have an exciting lineup of speakers for Tuesday and Wednesday am plenary sessions. We draw upon regional experts to address the entire conference audience. The plenary speakers will present key elements of ecological restoration. See our Plenary Sessions under the Programs tab for more details.
The Northwest Chapter of the Society of Ecological Restoration (SERNW) is offering scholarships to attend the Conference. Scholarships are available to SERNW Chapter student members attending post-secondary educational institutions and pursuing degrees (bachelors, masters, and doctorate) in ecology, environmental sciences and engineering, physical and biological sciences or related fields.
